Fear Free starts with how your pet feels. Pets can’t tell us they’re scared, but their body language can. Wide eyes, ears back, hiding, hissing or growling are ways they tell us, “I’m not comfortable.”
We recognize those signs & adjust the visit around what your pet needs.
That might mean a soft towel, calming voices, pheromones, a hiding place for a nervous cat, or even a little cheese during a blood draw or temperature check. 🧀🐶
For pets who are especially anxious, we also use medications before or during the visit to reduce fear & help avoid stressful restraint.
Being a Fear Free Certified Practice means our whole team has committed to doing things differently: less force, less fear & more trust.
Because HOW your pet feels at the veterinarian matters just as much as the care we provide.
