Helping Flat Faced Dogs Breathe & Thrive
Atlas struggled for air through narrow airways & his stomach paid the price. A pinched nose & excess tissue in his throat made him work harder for every breath. That extra suction pulls on parts of the stomach toward the chest, promotes acid reflux & inflames the esophagus. Delayed stomach emptying can add to the [...]
From freight train to family car to almost Tesla quiet—Atlas’s breathing has transformed! Listen to the difference! Just 3 hours after his minimally invasive CO₂ laser airway surgery, the noise is dramatically reduced—and Atlas is breathing easier. Noisy breathing—even during sleep—isn’t “normal for the breed.” It can be a sign of airway obstruction. Don’t wait [...]
Every breath was a struggle. Tyne deserved better. Watch us open her airways. Her elongated soft palate—a flap of excess tissue—blocked her windpipe entrance, while her narrowed nose restricted airflow. With minimally invasive CO₂ laser BOAS surgery, we opened her nose & removed excess throat tissue. This reconstructive airway surgery helps air reach her lungs—so [...]
Say no to a clogged nose & yes to better breathing. When a blockage is inside your dog’s nose, widening the outside with a wedge is just not enough. Think of a plumber widening a pipe’s entrance but leaving the clog inside. So what’s the solution? We use a precise, minimally invasive carbon dioxide laser [...]
More air, more ease, Lily’s a happy Pekingese. Two months after BOAS laser surgery, look at her go! Using minimally invasive CO₂ laser technology, we removed her heavy “big rope” nasal skin fold, opened her narrowed nostrils, & shortened her elongated soft palate to help her breathe. Now she’s running, playing & enjoying her new [...]
I’m proud to be a children’s book author with a purpose: helping the next generation recognize that noisy breathing isn’t “cute” or “normal”—it is an animal welfare issue. From Snoring to Soaring: Wrinkle the Frenchie’s Story is now available on Amazon! Wrinkle’s story is about awareness, compassion, & giving every dog the chance to breathe [...]
A pinched nose isn’t a feature—it’s a breathing problem. No dog should ever be forced to fight for every breath. With precise, minimally invasive BOAS carbon dioxide laser surgery, we open the airways & help air travel through the nose, down the throat, & into the lungs where it belongs. If you see the signs, [...]
Think you know what a neuter looks like? Look again. Less is more with minimally invasive laser surgery. Using a CO₂ surgical laser, we perform the neuter through a small scrotal incision with excellent control of bleeding. Smaller incision + the right technology = less trauma & a simpler recovery. With our laser we vaporize [...]
Fear Free starts with how your pet feels. Pets can’t tell us they’re scared, but their body language can. Wide eyes, ears back, hiding, hissing or growling are ways they tell us, “I’m not comfortable.” We recognize those signs & adjust the visit around what your pet needs. That might mean a soft towel, calming [...]
Seven seconds. Hear Papi’s struggle. Stay for the change. Little Papi had a big problem: noisy breathing that wasn’t normal—even for a Frenchie. Listen to the first 7 seconds. Then hear the next 14: clean, clear airflow, just 24 hours after minimally invasive CO₂ laser BOAS surgery. ❤️ Same sweet Papi. More room to breathe. [...]
