Thankful for pet parents like @narpatterson who remind us how much important it is to help pets like Merci who suffer from Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndome ! You may recall our interview with Merci 1 year ago on @wpbf25news after his BOAS laser surgery ! Recently we received a phone that he suddenly lost the use of his back legs & required emergency spinal surgery. Merci was seen 1st @bluepearlfortlauderdale & then we sent him over to @dr.unis_vet_surgeon & the incredible team @access_palm_beach_county who were successful in saving him ! Although he was in pain & distress, he was able to breathe 🫁 well & maintain adequate oxygenation, which is critical for surgery & recovery mending heart !
