Breathing is life & oxygen is not optional & we all share a duty to help pets & people recognize suffering.

In short nosed breeds like Frenchies, English Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, Pekingese, Pomeranians, & even mixed breeds although struggling to breathe may seem common, it’s never normal.

We must notice the signs— noisy breathing, snoring, heat or exercise intolerance, gagging, or restless sleep. These are red flags of an active airway obstruction known as BOAS.

The goal isn’t to shame, it’s to empower.

Ask for an airway check, talk through options, including minimally invasive approaches when appropriate.

When vets & families team up, we protect the human-animal bond & give every dog what they deserve, a comfortable breath & a better day-to-day life.
